"She made me feel empowered and in control"

Eva has been a God-send since the moment I emailed her for her maternity photography services. In all honesty I emailed a few other photographers, but Eva replied in a timely manner and I could sense her passion for her job through her response! I knew from the first few exchanges of emails that Eva was the perfect fit for me and my partner. Yesterday was our photoshoot & I speak on behalf of both my partner and I (who are both very shy people) when I say that there is no one else who could’ve done a better job. Eva has such a bubbly personality that broke the ice straight away. She remained professional throughout the whole photoshoot, and my favourite thing about Eva is that she would ask for permission before touching to adjust my hair or clothing for the photo. "Everything has been so easy"

Being pregnant and looking at maternity photography sessions, my social media algorithms would pop up with different photography company ads. Elia Making Memories was one of them and I especially liked the tones of warmth of the photos from her portfolio. It stood out from the rest. From the moment I reached out to Eva att Elia Making Memories, everything has been so easy and she has been so accommodating to my requests. Not to mention the fact that booking the Bump to Baby package means you are still paying in increments for what you are purchasing, so you don’t have to fork out lots of money in one go. We are still expecting our first child, but for the maternity shoot I really wanted a beach shoot over having it in a studio. The forecast was 40% rain on my weather app from when we were meant to have the photo shoot. Being stubborn we took the hour drive from South Auckland to Muriwai Beach. As we were 5 minutes away the rain started pouring down with heavy wind. Disheartened I was still willing wait 10 minutes to see if the weather cleared to do one change of dress that I had picked out from her client wardrobe and then we planned to go back to the studio if the weather hadn’t improved. Eva was very accommodating and helpful even though I was adamant to do the shoot in the horrible weather. She had even brought tea and snacks for after to warm us up. We started out the shoot and it was so cold and windy, but the rain stopped and it didn’t return, instead a beautiful early sunset erupted behind the clouds which gave the most beautiful backdrop and mirroring on the beach. All the photos turned out better than I had envisioned them. Can’t thank Eva enough for her being so easy going and willing to try and the photos came out amazing! So looking forward to having the newborn shoot with our little one. Would totally recommend to anyone that’s looking at doing a similar photo shoot session as a mum-to-be, couple or family. She’s so quick to respond to questions and requests over email as well!
